Stone Loves Basketball

We were sitting 4 rows behind the dugout so Stone got a fantastic view!  He LOVED being at the game!  That's our boy!

Here, he was watching a foul ball go by!  Don't you love his little rally monkey?!?!

This was Stone's very first piano lesson.  Great posture, good hand position!  He's on his way!!

However, he would rather smile and ham it up in front of daddy and the camera!!!  Pay attention, Stone!

I can stand up with the help of Mr. Chair but I still can't crawl yet!  Why crawl when mommy and daddy will carry me everywhere I need to go!

Daddy, you are pulling my shirt too tight and making me look like I have a Budah Belly!!  I love it when you pick me up!  Haley, you can't get me!!

Stone loves to be held and cuddled and we don't mind it one bit!  He is getting bigger by the minute.  Still no crawling yet but this week's new thing is Cheerios!!  He LOVES them!!!

We had such an amazing time at the Charlotte Knights game!  Stone was loving the powdered sugar from our funnel cake!  Daddy taught Stone all about the game.  Also, he did not cry the entire time we were there!  Around the 6th or 7th inning, he got a little tired and decided to take a nap to get ready for the fireworks and did not jump at the first one!  He stared in amazement!  One would think that after all that excitement he would sleep all the way home but as the last picture shows, he was ready for more!!!!

It was hot at the softball game but I was all smiles as usual!!!

We were getting ready to go to the softball field to see Daddy and his team win the championship!  Go Daddy!!!

Stone and I went to check out Daddy's new office and Stone was really liking Daddy's chair. Damon has pictures of Stone everywhere is his office and Stone was checking them out!

Stone absolutely loves to play the piano or bang drums or anything where he can use his hands! Of coarse, I put him at the piano at least once a day so he can practice!!!  He could sit there forever if I let him!  We are in the market for a little play piano like the one Linus played on "Charlie Brown." Let me know if you see one!!!

A Lost Video of Stone at 4 months

I found this 15 second video on my cell phone and had to add it to the blog. He is just too cute!

These are some family pictures.  The first is my dad playing to Stone.  It's never too early to start liking the guitar!  Stone is going to be the next A Rod or the next John Mayer!  Or both!!!! The next 2 were taken at my Papaw's 86th birthday party.  That is my mom and Stone and then my Papaw with Stone, me, Mom, my brother, Eric and his son, Aiden.  That was such a fun day! The next two pictures are of Damon's family  The first is his mom, Leslie and Stone when they came out to visit from California this past February and then his stepdad Walt, and his two brothers Jaason and Brandon.  We had such an amazing time when they came out to meet out little man!  He was such a hit!  We are going out to California in August to see them and visit our friends!  Look out for more pictures as Stone travels across the country for the first time!  

This was my very first Mother's Day.  We all went to church and then came home to relax. After we took this shot, Stone, myself and Damon went out on the front porch and rocked in the rocking chairs.  It was a beautiful day and very special!  He looks more like Damon every day! 

Stone is ticklish!

I was having lunch with Jacob and Lisa and Lisa sat Stone up on the table and started tickling him.  He couldn't stop laughing and then we couldn't stop laughing.  He was sooooo cute!!!  I love my little man!  What an angel!

Make Some Noise!

Stone decided he's not ready for bed. He still wanted to sing for mommy.

Stone also loves basketball and was able to go to his first Bobcats game where he was able to sit courtside!   He also went to a sweet sixteen playoff game where Carolina was playing with daddy!  Any opportunity Daddy has to take Stone to a sporting event, he is there!  

Kaedon Stone is 6 months old!

Stone just had his 6 months check-up and everything looked wonderful!  He is a healthy 18 pounds and is 27 inches long!  He is smiling and laughing all the time and starting to sit up with a little help from mom and dad.  He loves music and is already sitting in mom's lap playing the piano!  Stone has also become the church softball team's mascot.  He sits in the dugout while mom and dad play and just smiles!  He is the most amazing little boy ever!!!  This video was in my studio where I teach and a couple of my students were making him laugh.  The quality of the video isn't that great because it was taken with my phone but none the less, still precious!   Also, Stone LOVES to spit.  He makes the cutest face when he does it.  This video was taken while he was in his crib getting ready to go to bed.  He loves hearing himself and is starting to find his voice!  The next Justin Timberlake!!
